By accessing or using the NarrateAI API or website at mossforge.dev/narrateai (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you") and MossForge ("we", "us", "our"), a trading name operated from England.
You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service. By accessing or using NarrateAI, you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly provide the Service to anyone under 18. If we become aware that a user is under 18, we will terminate their account without notice.
NarrateAI provides a text-to-speech API. Users submit text via API requests and receive synthesised audio files in return. Access to the Service is provided on a subscription or credit-based basis as described on our pricing page.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time, with reasonable notice where practicable.
To use the Service you must create an account and provide accurate, complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API keys and account credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
You must notify us immediately at support@mossforge.dev if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.
You agree not to use the Service to:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these provisions, without refund.
Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. All subscription and credit purchases are subject to Stripe's terms. By providing payment details, you authorise us to charge your payment method for the amounts due.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date.
Credits are non-refundable once purchased, except where required by applicable law.
Refunds for subscriptions: if you cancel within 14 days of your initial subscription purchase and have not consumed more than 10,000 characters of the Service, you may request a full refund by contacting support@mossforge.dev. This does not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days' notice to registered users.
Your text inputs remain your property. We claim no ownership over text you submit.
Generated audio files are made available to you for download for 7 days from the time of generation, after which they are permanently deleted from our systems. You are responsible for downloading and storing any audio you wish to retain.
You are granted a non-exclusive licence to use the generated audio for lawful purposes, including commercial use, subject to these Terms and any restrictions that may apply to the underlying TTS model.
We retain ownership of the Service, its underlying models, infrastructure, and all associated intellectual property.
Generated audio files are automatically and permanently deleted from our Amazon S3 storage 7 days after creation. We do not archive or retain copies beyond this window. See our Privacy Policy for further details on how we handle your data.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability.
We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, that generated audio will meet your quality expectations, or that the Service will be available at any particular time.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MossForge shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including loss of data, revenue, or business opportunity.
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the three months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MossForge and its officers from any claims, losses, or damages (including legal costs) arising from your use of the Service in violation of these Terms or applicable law.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for breach of these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support@mossforge.dev. Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately and any unused credits are forfeited, except where required by law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If you have a complaint, please contact us at support@mossforge.dev in the first instance. We will endeavour to resolve disputes informally before any formal proceedings.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance.
